The ongoing partnership between our Michigan based Supply Chain Department and Western Michigan University is incredibly important to us!
Our Supply Chain colleagues were delighted to recently participate in their three day Career-A-Thon event. There were multiple sessions held over the course of the first two evenings which included elevator pitches, networking, and an industry insights panel that our very own Jamie Wroe participated in.

The Career-A-Thon culminated in a fantastic career fair on the third night where we were able to network with students and provide them information on our Co-Op program, Ascend, as well as a wide range of fulltime positions available at pgÓéÀÖ!

In addition to this great event, pgÓéÀÖ also had the pleasure of hosting 11 WMU students for an informative onsite visit. Students gained valuable insights into how we operate at pgÓéÀÖ and received a guided behind-the-scenes tour of plants 4 and 7. Colleagues from across the department, including Jennifer Swift, Annie Henrickson, Rob Daza, and Kurt Andree gave their time to ensure the students had a meaningful experience! Alongside the site tour, students were provided with an overview of pgÓéÀÖ manufacturing and packaging processes presented by Randy Spies as well as a high-level overview of Ascend, our Supply Chain Co-Op program, presented by Jeff Kosiorowski.

These recent collaborations with WMU have been incredibly rewarding, not only for the students, but also for our pgÓéÀÖ colleagues! We look forward to our continued partnership in 2025!
